Shura Council Speaker: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Invitation to GCC Summit Comes amid Exceptional Circumstance

The Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh has appreciated the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States to participate in the 41st GCC summit as it comes amid exceptional circumstances being witnessed in the world topped by Coronavirus pandemic and its political, economic and social effects that require more regional and international cooperation and efforts integration. In a statement on the occasion of the GCC summit to be held tomorrow in AlUla governorate, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh confirmed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques places the issue of the Gulf's unity, continuity, success and strengthening of the joint Gulf action at the forefront of his interests. The Speaker noted that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has been keen on holding the summit with the participation of all member states, which is an embodiment of the great importance to deepening cooperation and integration among member states in all fields.
