Her Excellency the Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdul Rahim Al-Ahmadi, met at the Council's seat in Riyadh today with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Canada, Amal bint Yahya Al-Muallimi.* During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ahmadi reviewed the roles of the Shura Council and its working mechanisms, and its effective role in parliamentary diplomacy.* The importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the Shura Council and the Canadian Parliament was also emphasized in order to enhance bilateral relations, in addition to discussing a number of topics.
